Roeland Roelofs

  • Roeland has been the Country Manager for Novartis Group in Vietnam since May 2017. He operationally leads the Pharmaceuticals division and represents all Novartis Divisions.
  • Prior to his current role, Roeland was Strategic Assistant to the CEO Novartis Pharmaceuticals and Secretary to the Global Pharmaceuticals Executive Committee (PEC) (2015-2017). He led the Primary Care Business Franchise in Belgium & Luxemburg and was part of the Country Executive team (2012-2015). Roeland held various commercial positions in Novartis Pharmaceuticals across The Netherlands, Russia and Switzerland (2005-2012).
  • Before joining Novartis, Roeland worked at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) consulting across various sectors (incl. the UN World Food Program) and functional areas (incl. mergers & acquisitions, operational effectiveness and corporate strategy).
  • Roeland received his master’s degrees in Biology (MsC) and Philosophy (MA) from the University of Utrecht (The Netherlands). He received his MBA degree from IESE, University of Navarra (Spain).
